[one_third]INNOWORKS
A collaborative group cofounded in 1997 by professionals in design, intellectual property, and finance has become a springboard for breakthrough products. Conceived as two personalities, a think tank creating new entrepreneurial categories and the other half consulting firm. Both are geared toward identifying market opportunities with Industrial Design as the catalyst to differentiate products.
Our Consulting goal is to enhance and extend clients current products lines, create entirely new products, and help establish new brands.
Our Venture goal strives to seek out strategic partnership opportunities by working in a collaborative structure, building what we create, to bring innovations directly to consumers.
A dreamer at heart, consulting has been the lifeblood for Covault’s career, starting on his own at 26, building two award winning firms. From its early foundation, InnoWorks was conceived as a creative venture embodying two personalities, one consulting the other entrepreneurial ventures, to help launch innovations to market. Over a 20+ year career his accomplishments as a strategic innovator, an industrial designer, and a brand creating entrepreneur have given him the opportunity to seek out companies wanting to establish and enhance their strategic brand identities, and expand into new ventures.
Originally an internal exploration into ‘design inspired hydration products’. The QHy program quickly evolved into a license equity partnership with the Eddie Bauer brand, when Target Stores were seeking to revitalize the category. After a license agreement negotiated by Covault was reached, the product became a number 1 seller at over 910 Target Store locations.
Not only did the design conceived by InnoWorks increase sales, but it introduced the functional ‘flip-up drinking spout’ to the category, a design that has since been adopted by every major competitor in their products. With the success of the Target program, the QHy trademarks, and the IP designs have been re-branded under QuencHydration Gear, and have expanded designs for five categories under development.

Andrew J Covault
A dreamer at heart, Andrew’s accomplishments as a strategic innovator, an industrial designer, and a brand building entrepreneur have made him sought out by companies wanting to establish their strategic brand identities. InnoWorks, a collaborative consulting group he cofounded in 1997 with professionals in design, intellectual property’s and finance has become his springboard clearing house for breakthrough products.

Recognized as a leading entrepreneurial innovator he is truly one who builds what he creates.
He created QuencHydration Gear, a design inspired hydration product line proved to be Andrew’s greatest challenge. Originally established as an equity partnership under the ‘Eddie Bauer’ in 2004, one of the products designed became the number 1 seller in its category at 910 US retail locations, selling well over $14.4 million in retail sales for 4 years for Target Stores.
Constantly innovating, his mind sees opportunity all around. When not sketching out his next idea or strategizing a license opportunity, Covault can be found with his family . . . his greatest motivators to pursue higher ideals. After a self imposed hiatus to be with his children after the passing of his late wife to metastatic breast cancer, he is back with renewed energy and a zest for new opportunities. Her spirit lives on in the [ilink url=”nicolesgrace.org”]Nicole’s Grace Foundation[/ilink] he established in 2010 to honor her. Nicole’s Grace has helped establish pilot programs in Georgia schools, under the [ilink url=”nicolesgrace.org”]“Thriving Beyond Cure™”[/ilink] branding by partnering with the international group [ilink url=”rainbows.org”]“Rainbows®”[/ilink] supporting an avenue to grow for children and teens grieving after a loss.
An avid reader and studier of human nature he is on a quest to bring a greater meaning to his work, to create something that can benefit others lives. Always in search of new adventure, whether it is practicing Tia Chi on a beach in the British Virgin Islands, building sand castles with his children, or his quest to help in the fight against cancer, hiking the back country high in the Colorado mountains, he studies Lao Tsu, eastern philosophies and medicines, and he sees opportunities of improvement everywhere.
Investigating the creative human potential applies to both his personal and professional pursuits. Over his career Covault has consulted with fortune 500 companies to start ups including Coleman, Fisher Price, Imax/Sonics, Coleman, Coca Cola, ZON Audio, PepsiCo, Eddie Bauer, SIGG, and Target Stores.
