Collaboration. Engaging clients collaboratively as more of a partner, can drive an innovation culture within the entire organization uncovering opportunities for creating truly great products.
Strategic Innovation. Obviously Innovation is key to our business. When embraced not only on the design level but throughout an organization it can enhance a companies overall strategic position and identify opportunities that might not have been recognized in a vacuum.
Used-Centered Solutions. Key to successful design is first looking at the interaction between people and products and exploring how can we improve that interaction, making it easier and more enjoyable to use – that understanding benefits the user.
Seeking to Understand. Paramount to reaching project objectives involves our understanding of many factors; the market, competition, corporate goals and aspirations, personnel and relationships within, pricing, and production, differentiation, and the end user. During a discovery and exploration phase these driving principles are unearthed and aligned.
Product Semantics. Embedding an intuitive nature and ease of understanding within the design created, tells the consumer how to and the value of using the product – through product semantic qualities and clues.
Differentiation. True market success comes in a products uniqueness, its innovation, even their simplicity, gaining the attention of today’s consumer. The product’s design tell the world what a company values and is often the first, if not the only, interaction consumers have with the company.
Design Inspired Emotion. An extension of differentiation, the emotional connection to the user drives loyalty to the brand and repeat business, and a relationship that spans many product life cycles.
Simplicity. Or a minimalist approach strives to reduce a design down to its essential elements (functional, aesthetic, ergonomic) by exploring solutions in an circular, designing from the ‘inside-out-inside-out’ path.
DFM. Design For Manufacturing is integral to all work, it ensures production is lean without compromising design. In fact these principals have uncovered new innovations that take designs to a higher level.
