Recognized with numerous international awards, 9 U.S. and international patents, and 3 registered trademarks, including a prestigious IDEA Award sponsored by BusinessWeek Magazine, CES Innovations Award , Good Design Award and more, his work has been selected to the permanent collection Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
One internal exploration proved to be his biggest challenge and led to an exclusive license under the Eddie Bauer brand generating over $14 million in retails sales at Target Stores.

A dreamer at heart, and constantly innovating Covault strives to . . . is on a pursuit to bring a greater meaning to his work, to create benefit for others lives with Great Design as the catalyst to inspire. Giving back is key and Covault has pledged up to 10% of future proceeds to charity work from InnoWorks ventures.
Back at InnoWorks with renewed energy and a zest for new opportunities, he stepped away from work pursuits just prior to the passing of his late wife, Nicole, to focus on his children. During which time he established the Nicole’s Grace Foundation and partnered with Rainbows.org , launching the Thriving Beyond initiative. Self-funded by the Covault family and friends these programs now serve 3 Georgia school venues offering an avenue to heal and grow for children and teens grieving after a loss.
